Community Involvement and Social Responsibility

As responsible corporate citizens, Jonathan McGrath Construction continually participates in programs to improve the quality of life for our local community. It is our belief that as a company and members of the community, we have a responsibility to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. This commitment is one of the cultural pillars of our company and is what inspires us to continually lend both our hearts and hands to deserving local and national charities.

Jonathan McGrath Construction is involved in and a big supporter of the HBA Foundation – a non-profit organization raising funds for organizations that help children and families in need, that has donated over $1 million to youth-related charities across Central Florida.  This foundation currently supports Grandma’s House, the Ronald McDonald House, Eatonville Boys and Girls Club, New Hope for Kids and Elevate Orlando. Director of Marketing and Finance at Jonathan McGrath Construction, Marion McGrath had a life changing opportunity watching Elevate Orlando up close and personal at a site visit at Evans High School.  Elevate Orlando’s goal is to help at-risk students lead successful lives through long-term relationships and programs emphasizing character education, life skills training and leadership development.  At her installation in November of 2010 as the incoming president at the Home Builder’s Association of Metro Orlando she named Elevate Orlando as the charity she planned to focus on during her year.  Jonathan McGrath Construction has also made a commitment and is proud to be on Elevate Orlando’s Board of Governors.

Jonathan McGrath Construction is also a proud supporter of Christian Help, a Christian ministry devoted to preventing homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs. As members of the HBA Remodelers Council, Jack McGrath has donated many hours of labor for several charities, most recently the construction of wheelchair access ramps in the local community.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of these great organizations and are grateful to be involved with organizations that support positive change in our community.
